We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and commercially minded Business Development Manager to manage new and existing relationships across all of the company’s divisions. This is a Permanent position, hybrid with national travel required. On target bonus and benefits, depending on level of experience.
As a key catalyst for the future growth and development of all of our divisions, you will drive growth throughout all of the groups making this an extremely varied and financially prosperous role. You will be identifying and securing new business specifically in retail, warehousing, distribution and corporate sectors.
Furthermore, you will support the wider Business Development team outside of your primary focus, consulting with sector leads in those areas to help achieve the best results for the business.

To grow and develop new business with both existing customers and by increasing the potential client base
To work collaboratively with other business divisions to expand potential joint opportunities as appropriate
Relationship building with all new and existing accounts to improve our understanding of individual customer needs
Build effective networks of contacts within our identified key accounts and networks
Conduct Market analysis to develop relevant insights into key target sectors developing an action plan to drive growth
To provide support at shows and exhibitions as defined by the company strategy
To take the lead on preparation of high-quality proposals in response to client enquiries. Working with close support from operations and senior management to build bids, ensuring relevant inputs are robust, valid and accurate.
To lead on negotiations with prospective clients covering cost, schedule and technical requirements
Leading on liaison with customers to close out negotiations on project scope and T&C’s
Targeted prospecting for new business opportunities based on a deep understanding of key market drivers and the organisations offering.
To maintain the accuracy and currency of new business pipeline data in the appropriate business systems
To be successful in the role you will have/be a:
Previous experience within manned guarding and technical security solutions sector
Previous business development or account management experience
Knowledge of the Warehousing and corporate security industry preferred
Highly results focused individual
Excellent communication and presentation skills
